Yes. There should have been two people focusing on the air traffic between planes and helicopters. The ATC was overworked and couldn’t monitor things as closely and normally done.
Now they’re not the only fault, but this is a direct result of actions taken.
The point is, ATC was overworked before Trump came along, and all the dumb shit he’s been doing probably hasn’t had time to impact individual ATC operations in a way that would have caused this. But yes, there’s still the future, and I’m sure that whatever additional dumb shit he plans to do to fight “DEI” in the system will hurt an already struggling system in unnecessary and crash-inducing ways.
