Sopuli.xyz is a very confusing and off putting name for newbies.

That's good! Feel free to post it as its own post here!

Also star trek! So. Much. Star Trek

[–] [email protected] 36 points 3 days ago (1 children)

You should use Linux and look at my programmer socks 👍

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

I completely neglected Linux, I'm guessing because I'm a Linux user and the amount of discourse on here seems pretty reasonable to me.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 3 days ago (2 children)

You seem to be implying that there's such a thing as too much trek, which is preposterous

[–] [email protected] 7 points 3 days ago

Truth is I have a themed alt account solely for posting trek memes, I'm here for it

More mobile apps that you'll ever need

[–] [email protected] 17 points 3 days ago (2 children)

Should I stop working on my Lemmy app 😅

[–] [email protected] 24 points 3 days ago (1 children)

It's up to you! https://www.lemmyapps.com/

But now I feel like desktop/website UI would be more interesting, as there are few opions on that space.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 days ago (4 children)

...what if I told you my app was a website, desktop app, and mobile app all in one. Still have a lot of work to do, and expect it to be best optimized for mobile, but I'm pretty confident I can launch with a better desktop experience then Voyager.

Care to list all the apps updated at least once in the last 2 months and without ads? Just asking for a friend.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 days ago

Well, some pooping.

Can someone make a version of this saying lemmy has no adds. I think that honestly is the best selling point for reddit users at this point.

Im brand new here and digging it. The lack of ads is a big part of that. That and the chiller vibe. I do wish it had gifs/videos. Not just images & text

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Welcome! There are a few gifs, posted one on [email protected] yesterday

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

Thank you!

Ah! That’s the fist I’ve seen. Glad to know that it supports the format. I hadn’t seen any and was beginning to wonder.

Here you are.

Btw, the source file (SVG) is available on my Git repo on Codeberg ;)

Maybe could be a little bit more professional-looking :D

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 day ago

I prefer it over anything that looks too slick, because then it feels like a corporation made it

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 days ago

It's a meme :)

The two pinned posts in this community are more serious
