A good workaround, but making the keyboard smaller isnβt a long-term solution. Cool trick, though. Thanks for sharing. I just tried it, and itβs pretty neat.
Or split the keyboard.
Split the keyboard When Split Keyboard is turned on in Settings, tap in a text field to open the onscreen keyboard, then do any of the following: Split the keyboard: Touch and hold the Hide Keyboard key, slide your finger to Split, then release. Put the split keyboard back together: Touch and hold the Hide Keyboard key, slide your finger to Merge, then release.
Yeah. Unfortunately split screen keyboard is disabled on 12.9" iPads though for some reason.
Because "fuck you" is why
Mine does not look like that at all (11β iPad Pro). It might be because youβre using a 3rd party keyboard. Try switching to stock and seeing if that gives more room.
