this series good? never read the books and know nothing about it so I feel like even if it's bad I might like it right?

Ehhhh? I've never read the books either, but I find the series silly and a little dull. Of the main cast, Rosamund Pike is decent in it and her character is probably the most interesting. I suspect there are some other good actors, but they're trapped behind characters that just aren't compelling. The series would be better without the male lead, who is about as interesting as watching paint dry. Honestly, I suspect the source material also isn't nearly as good as the book readers claim.

I'll probably keep watching it, but my bar is pretty low for fantasy shows. I really would forget about it entirely if it disappeared.

I really enjoy it but I haven't read the books

It's... Ok ish. If you know the books, it's pretty terrible and breaks a LOT of the lore and setting. The series isn't shit, but it's not actually something I'd recommend.

Dude, it was unrecognizable in the first 20 minutes. All the Two Rivers kids are fucking each other. Nynaeve kills a trolloc with her belt knife. It's like the show runners read the title of the first book and stopped there.

I haven’t read the books, but I had heard a lot of great things about them. To me the show is quite boring with a pretty unbalanced cast. The performances are not memorable. I found it very difficult to get invested in the story or the characters.

After the first few episodes, I nearly gave up on it, but decided to pick it back up a few months later. Well that was a bad idea, because I was even more lost and couldn’t remember a single relevant plot point. I eventually caught myself back up, but it wasn’t worth it imo.

Even now when I’m thinking back on it, I’m not actually convinced if I’m remembering parts of Wheel of Time or if I’m really remembering scenes from Shadow and Bone. It’s that forgettable.

The books start great, but around book six, The Lord of Chaos, it turns into a fucking slog until book 11 or so. I fucking HATE Salidar.
