I tried these, they help if your mouth doesn’t naturally close. Without these, usually you wake up with a dry mouth which is very bad for your mouth/teeth. Fell out of using them though.

Ok first of all this article is just a sales pitch for some sleep aids.
Second of all, I bet mouth taping does have some legitimate benefits, probably some of the same benefits one might get from a cpap that accomplishes the same thing. The cpap does more admittedly, but just encouraging nasal breathing during sleep is still good.
