apparently startpage\startmail has an exclusive partnership with Dan Bongino?? (slrpnk.net)

I've been trying different search engines and was pleasently surprised by startpage so i started looking into startmail too and then when i searched for startmail i saw they have a link directly to their dan bongino section https://www.startmail.com/bongino so thats a huge pass from me

for those who dont know he’s a very conservative podcast host whos now the FBI deputy director who pushed the conspiracy theory that trump actually won the 2020 election and rallied against face masks and “In 2018, Bongino said, “My entire life right now is about owning the libs. That’s it.”” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Bongino

Fuck me man. Why is everything fucked. I feel like I have to boycott everything at this point.

Startpage and proton were my mail “services” and now they’ve both gone to shit, great.

Pretty much.

I keep an ever-growing “shit list” now of companies with whom I no longer do any business (e.g., Amazon; but lots of brick ’n mortar businesses, too).

It sucks. It makes me feel like a crazy person. But here we are.

I’d always been a centrist shitlib normie (I liked watching The West Wing back in the day and found it inspiring, for example). But the Overton Window has been so thoroughly shitfucked lately, now I’m allying myself with the Socialists because they’re the only ones offering any real resistance to this Fascist oligarchy bullshit.

I don’t know how things got here so fast, and why the Democrats are just rolling over for it all (actually, I do, their big corporate donors). The Democratic Party is effectively complicit in all this. If we ever manage to wrest our Republic back from The Fascists somehow, we need to then focus on punishing the Democratic Party as well.

I'd be surprised if this was more than him signing up for an affiliate marketing link and driving traffic to the site.

But I agree. He's fascist mentally-ill trash, and no respectable business should be associated with him in any way.

That's not a section, I got worried there for a second..(I thought he's an investor of some sort) That's an affiliate link section, he gets a commission for spreading the word that Startpage exists.. It's up to you if you wanna look at it as just business or something else.. I think everyone deserves privacy even the Bonjino audience
