They've been losers for so long that they are finally excited that something they chose won. Now they have to live with a decision that will make them losers again.
How fucking hilarious would it be if he took the Bible belt and seceded, because "judges are mean" and started civil war 2 as Jefferson Davis. I mean yeah, it sounds stupid, but this is by far the stupidest timeline. We haven't even begun to see the levels of stupid that it'll get to.

That's not even the Confederate flag; that is a more modern flag created by Jim Crow-era racists who wanted to symbolize that black people aren't welcome in that location.
