Could be? Listen, this isn't some red scare bullshit. Where it's used as a club to beat dissidents over the head with. This is a legitimate sequence of events that, while the details are currently not evident, the results and pathway are. He's obviously a compromised idiot. Calling him an agent gives him agency that I don't think he has. But an absolute willingness and ability to do the bidding of a Russian dictator, he definitely has shown that. Without hard evidence, I wouldn't throw anyone in prison for this (so many other things though), but he should obviously be removed from power and an ability to do harm.
