My First Printables Upload! (www.printables.com)
submitted 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) by [email protected] to c/[email protected]

Even though most of the work was done by someone else, I'm still kind of proud of this print. I dipped my toes into the water and edited the design in Blender to improve the design. I'll upload the cube tomato in a month or so when it grows into the mold.

Edit: if you downloaded the first versions, I made a couple revisions that have tighter tolerances. I noticed some errors as I was printing a big mold so that is fixed now with v.2.2.

Edit: I've made a v.3 but my account got banned for some reason (probably usage of a VPN) so I think I'll consider other platforms that are VPN friendly.

Edit: my new post and account is here

How would that be practical? Or is it just something cool to do?

It would be cool! Im just trying to be creative, feel free to ignore me 😂

Ive seen cubed watermellons, but neved tomato. Does it actually work? Tomato fruit doesnt need a sun?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

It shouldn't need sun. I have one going right now and it's pretty healthy. I'm pretty sure it should be fine getting sun through leaves and nutrients from the stems.

This reminds me of the bonsai kittens from back in the day
