All of reddit, including this very subreddit, has some very sus behaviors. Closed secret moderation, no response from moderators, etc.
I remind everyone: Elon Musk has a global ISP service, Star Link. He has the largest machine learning center in the world in Memphis. He has all of Twitter's Internet resources, and Tesla's on mobile networks globally, etc. He has been actively posting about Reddit on Twitter, and is clearly capable of mounting massive manipulation of this platform.
