Can we please talk about pathologizing dissent? Because it is happening now. And has happened before as a justification for industrial scale murder.

The concept involves branding or stigmatizing all dissent as mental deficiency, combined with a eugenics program which targets those viewed as disabled.

This is a topic where heavy psychological evasion was used to bury it in the public mind, with tactics like "knowing without recognizing", in part because of how horrifying it was.

This article expands on the how art was used to label people as mentally ill degenerates and subject them to the Aktion T4 eugenics campaign, which was the precursor to the "final solution".

And with the added bonus that it's essentially psychological projection as national policy, since it's invariably the case that the people who would and do institute such policies are, viewed objectively, self-evidently profoundly mentally ill.

Yes. It's always projection with these Social Dominance Orientation types of people because all of society is a net-zero-sum equation where cooperation cannot lead to the creation of anything greater than the sum of the parts, and competition is the only legitimate social strategy which makes our entire existence utilitarian and transactional.

So they plan to do to others every frightening thing they can imagine others wanting to do to them, all out of a hallucinated need for self defense from people who don't actually want to do those things.
