Will French people boycott McDonald's hard and long enough to make them shutdown locations? This is an interesting question. France is the biggest consumers of McD outside the USA. (Don't ask me where this fact came from, I don't remember 😅).
Personally, I use to enjoy some BK or Five Guys every now and then, I will get my junk food fix from local restaurants from now onwards. Price difference is not much, often more tasty.
McDonald's is peak capitalism. Expensive food that kills people slowly but surely.
No doubt, also there are abusing their employees. I recommend this documentary (in French): Travailler jusqu'à l'indigestion, bienvenue dans les cuisines de MCDO - Documentaire complet
Is there an English Translation of that?
I guess not, it's an investigation from a French media, a reporter went undercover as a McDonald's worker in a restaurant. And they also interviewed some representative of the workers' union. You can try the automatic captions on YouTube, not sure if it's any good.
Come on France, those are scrub tier numbers
