Probably one of the stupidest and most insane ideas I’ve ever heard. It’s amazing how easily republicans all accepted this. Also canada being a single state is incredibly ridiculous, everything else aside.
Even if everyone involved wanted to merge Canada and the US, it would be idiotic to do it as a single state.
Even the fantasy is stupid with them.
I assume Republicans know that if they made Canada into six states, they would never win national elections again. Not that I think they would be planning on having fair elections or really any elections at all by that point.
Cool. Time to start cashing in some more of those US bonds, then. The fuckin' idiot won't learn.
The way things are going, Canada and Mexico will be picking up the pieces left of the US in a few years.
