Folks it's not enough to just vote if you want actual, legitimate change. Register for the party that aligns with you most, and get your boots on the ground by volunteering, attending events, and becoming a registered party member.

People are crazy if they think the average person is alright with this.

The referendum thing is an unmistakable nod towards the separatists. It basically halves the number of ultraconservative fanatics she needs to round up in order to make her "national unity crisis" momentarily appear like it wasn't completely made up.
