Isn't the Club WC a FIFA tournament? Not to defend UEFA, but I don't think they're at fault this time.
It is yea, and recently I found out that this is going for quite some time. Still I found it too much. Let's not forget, that after that, there will be friendlies and season preparation with the whole team(speaking for the players).
Yeah, they're asking way too much of the players. They'll probably pick up a fair few injuries by May 2026.
Yeah the CWC is a shit money grab tourney
I think this perspective only true for european-club players, heck maybe only for top 5 leagues. For other nations, this competition seems like a big boon for them and their fans treat them accordingly (very serious and passionate).
