Here are my needs:

Budget friendly under 45 euro (flexible on that)

Good battery life

Decent durability

relatively high maximum brightness.

Nice to have:

Multiple settings

USB rechargeable battery

I was recommended the sofirn sp35 before

I use my sofirn sp40 every single day when I’m out feeding our animals and collecting the chicken eggs. It’s a champ. Great light beam, with three intensities, comfortable headstrap, very long-lasting on a charge. $36

Somebody from r/flashlight recommended it to me a couple of years ago and I recently got a second one to take along when camping with the family. 10/10

Sounds good, I know I didn't mention this but is the highest brightness uncomfortable to look at? My paranoid ass wants to replace my leatherman as a weapon

Uncomfortable to a person whose eyes you shine it into? On its brightest setting? Very.
