The official app pushed me away when I was forced to see the 'hegetsus' crap. I've been waiting for Reddit to pull a Digg for a while and looks like the API nonsense is going to be it for me, anyway.

I mean, it's more rewarding if you put more effort into it.

Damn Jerboa android lemmy client got messed up. Didn't realized I've triple posted this. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Yeah Jerboa still has some stability issues. For now, I'll still hop between it and the regular web client, which honestly it's quite alright for mobile.

Using it in Firefox mobile with uBlock Origin is very speedy and stable. You will even forget most of the times you are in browser. Downsize text zoom and you have text density better than RiF.

Thanks for the heads up. I just started using it last night. I'll be on the lookout for repeat posts haha.

The original app always felt excessively cluttered and changed too much for the sake of changing. Moving here feels way better than supporting whatever the official reddit app decides to break today

Justified tbh

This is quite accurate. I've stood up my own lemmy instance... but hitting some pretty basic issues in the process. Not sure its ready for prime time.
