With the apparent increased interest because of the Reddit issues maybe we can improve this community. If you have ideas let me know or post them.

Here are my suggestions:

Icon: a football suggested image

Banner: a football pitch? suggested image

Probably not very good suggestions, but better than nothing

I am not sure if something like that is possible with Lemmy yet. But I agree it would be cool. Do any other communities have flairs?

Checked the gh project and seems that it's not implemented yet and in a preliminar phase https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/1456
