I love how the Sydney daily thread gets downvotes. Like, what is going through someone's head to actively downvote what's basically a public service lol.

'Nobody is using this daily thread, it makes me mad, I'm going to express my feelings not by using my words but by downvoting.'

'This daily thread is shit, it clogs up my Active filter every morning, I'm gonna downvote it.'

It is interesting how Melbourne is where all the chat is. Maybe I should start talking there and just not tell anyone I'm actually in Syd. "Smoke is going to be bad today guys"

Luckily no.

The weather is now a bit cooler and wetter, so I assume the backburns will return soon. I keep an eye on the bom each night and I've been sealing up gaps in my room.

Yeah, I don't get the downvotes most of the time. It's a discussion forum and a discussion thread, but you don't discuss why you don't like something? Downvoting is lazy.

Does anyone else only eat fruit that isn't ripe? I like sour and crunchy stuff and absolutely hate ripe fruit.

I can't be the only one (hopefully).

I guess it depends on everyone's definitions of ripe for each fruit. I'm not going to eat unripe banana, it kinda tastes a bit like banana peel. And I like plums, nectarines, peaches etc to be juicy, not hard. Which fruits you thinking of in particular?
