I even remember commentators this weekend mentioning him, and I haven't watched any Bundesliga game the past weekend on tv (except Leipzig with no commentary on my betting app).

"footballer praises his teammate"

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

cause he literally scored every single game for Bunda too

If my nonna had wheels she wouldve been a bikee

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

This season he has been better than both tbh. Not the best player this season, but he is better than Haaland and Mbappe in current form.

Julián Álvarez Is clear of Bellingham

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

That didn't stop anyone from sucking off Haaland last October

Mbappe is at RM now?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Probably not all that much, but this form is expected from Bellingham. He’s been that good for 2 whole seasons. Some guy you hadn’t heard of has 13 in 7 for Frankfurt. Best English striker for the last 2 decades and the premier leagues best for the last 5+ years joins Bayern and this guys outpacing him.

No harm mate but it has got to be Guirassy

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

No of course not, Kepa responded exactly how you'd expect. It's the question constantly being asked by journos that's the issue

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)

Can't argue with that, reckon it will take 1 awful performance by Bellingham for the narrative to change.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

True. Guirassy could be the next papiss cisse

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

There's a pretty clear difference that nobody expects guirassy to continue this run of form. It's incredible but it's also very clearly an insane purple patch

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

you won't hear about it

You can't be serious, every time any other player in world football is praised this season, he is brought up

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

We're witnessing something special right now.

Many complained the same about sucking off Messi or CR7 when they exploded. If this sub had existed back in the day, it'd be the same with Ronaldo, Kaká, Zizou, Henry, Ronaldinho etc.

There's a different feeling when you're watching an all-timer unfold before your eyes. Just enjoy it.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Why are people moaning?

On current form, as an all round player, Bellingham is top right now.

By season end? Who knows. But no one is talking about the whole season.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Madrid PR working overtime to make a kid who scored a few tap-ins the next GOAT. This is hilarious.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

He's also one of the best midfielders in the world and rising.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Hes a great player, there's no denying that. But maybe come back once 75% of his goals aren't tap ins lol

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Why are people hurt by this? It's just a teammate praising his teammate.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Come back when he got more trophies. Pleb comparision.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

He’s talking about current form just like how Guardiola once said De Bruyne is sitting at his own table a couple years ago.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Serhou Guirassy has 13 goals in 7 games, but Stuttgart isn't backed by Madrid's PR machine so you won't hear about it, he is the highest rated player in Europe and has the highest shot conversion in Europe in moment

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Yup, you are right without it everyone would be calling Bellingham a bum. It's not like he is one of the most in form players in the world in his debut season at a top club after joining for a huge fee.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

If you think Gavi is comparable to Bellingham then you’re insane.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

A couple of tapins

A feel like you are downplaying his contribution so far a bit, just a tiiiinny bit.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

He is not playing as midfielder exactly. Ancelotti though found his strength and utilizing him like that. He is like secondary striker or attacking midfielder for them. But yeah his number is good but so do several striker.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Fuck, I misunderstood. Thought he was talking about Bellingham

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

The RM media machine is out in full force 🙄

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Anyone that's been watching all the Real Madrid games - care to share a breakdown of his overall performances outside the goalscoring alone? I have only watched his highlights and he's obviously been hugely influential in the goal + assists arena, but how has he been in controlling midfield, passing, defensive aspects etc?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

He is a mix of Zidane and Gerrard imo but way ahead of them at the same age. A born leader, someone who demands the very best of everyone around him no matter their standing. He has an uncanny ability to find time in the box with his exceptional first touch and decision making. Being so clinical In front of goal is yet another major facet to his game which sets him apart. I think he has 19 shots and scored 10 goals so far this season which is remarkable in addition to being a 20 year old world class midfielder. Being clinical was what made Ronaldo stay at the top later in his career but it took him years to learn how. I think mainly it's his mentality and game IQ which is above the others on top of his obviously great technical abilities.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Mbappe has been on Bellinghams level for years now. TF is this?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

He's been like this for years. He's been absolutely outstanding in every single Dortmund match.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

I mean, people say the same thing about me 🤷‍♂️

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Mislintat masterclass

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

still miniscule compared to the decade plus of consistent excellence of Messi and Ronaldo.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Damn Spanish goalkeepers always hyping English players

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

What people fail to realize is that Bellingham isn’t just providing goals but phenomenal midfielder performances. He’s a workhorse who covers the whole pitch. He can play make, link up play, carry the ball, and defend well. Even if his goal output declines, he’s still bringing so much to the table and is proving he should be up there with the best players in the world

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Breaking news: Real Madrid player rates fellow Real Madrid player higher than non-Real Madrid players.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Respect guirassy

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

This is probably too much praise, but realistically Bellingham could be on the way to become the most complete player in football history

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

I think Messi and Ronaldo would have been very happy with their careers if they would have reached the level Bellingham is currently at.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

The disrespect to Jonny Evans
