He wanted a clear project and Barca couldn’t promise anything. Also got Raiola as an agent. Many reasons. I think it was probably wise of him to change the scenery and get a fresh start. Here he was always known for his name and hair, got a million followers at 15 playing youth football etc.

Musiala is incredibly talented. Sky is the limit for him. but he's not as consistent yet and lacks what is to me one of the most valuable skills that Wirtz already has. Game intelligence. Wirtz knows what to do in certain (basically every) situations, Musiala still needs to learn that. Gladly, that's a skill you can obtain through experience. Wirtz is already worldclass, Musiala will get there eventually.
