and this team stil doesnt have a real striker and arda güler.

its time for dark horses to rise again (im ready to go mentally ill)

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Kokcu also wasn't playing who's usually the progressive player of the team, him arda and a proper striker and Turkey is back in business 2008 euro style.

That last 35 yard shot from modric sums up his NT career. He singlehandedly ( atleast half of the time) almost got them over the finish line.

He should have been born 5-6 years later.

Kerem is somehow involved in every position but can't finish to save his life lol

I really think we (Turkey) played super well, looking forward to more.

8 Balija se gura ispred nasih finih decka iz Splita. Krovinovic >> Modric

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Can you really argue that he is a tactical mastermind? All three medals can be attributed to our midfield and penalty shootouts. On the other hand, we have seen some of the worst games and defeats under Dalić.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

In my opinion, Unal fits in perfectly. He was our target to replace Ramos, Schmidt definitely wanted that Kokcu-Unal link.

Before you edited your comment, you had stated that Galatasaray beating Man United at Old Trafford was the first time a Turkish club won in England in 177 years.

You think you're a smartass don't you?

If the Perisic "handball" vs France in the 2018 World Cup final was a penalty, then the handball on Calhanoglu should've no doubt been a penalty too.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

For starters not play 4-3-3. It's perfectly reasonable to play with 3 at the back and 2 wingbacks.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I still remember the big ass headlines for the newspapers the next day: SOĞUK DUŞ (COLD SHOWER)

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

about right

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Ismail Yuksek owned Modric-Brozovic-Kovacic

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Terrible overall, Gvardiol and Majer only to play on somewhat decent level. Dalić flaws exposed again.

Congrats to Turkey.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

The last 30 minutes were a nightmare, so happy that it turned out in favour of us. Also, it was Turkey's first ever win against Croatia in history (accounting the Euro 2008 quarter finals as a draw after 120 minutes)

Edit: Oh yes, somehow I forgot 2018 WC Qualifiers

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It is time for Hakan to fuck off from the NT and Kerem shouldn't be starting for the NT either atm

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Kerem is somehow involved in every position but can't finish to save his life lol

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Seeing Cenk at left back made my eyes bleed once again. We did not pass the midfield once through the left and the coach didnt sub him the whole match. Happy about the win but wtf Montella? We basically attacked with 9 men

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

This loss is completely on Daliban and his fucking tactical inabilities. Once Modrić retires, he should go with him.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Daliban lmaooo

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I can sleep easy tonight knowing we are first place 😊

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I thought Croatia were supposed to be decent? Well played Turkiye

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

What a match İsmail Yüksek had, POTM for sure

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Thank you Montella, you are my best friend

You are the clean sheet keeper, you are the legend

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Dark horse? (I’m ready to be hurt again)

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

he's useless without a fast forward in the lineup to make use of his balls but with Arda it may just work

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Latvia the dark horse, ends up going to play offs imagine lol.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I love Croatia

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Samet & Abdulkerim > Merih and Caglar. Also props to Montella. The players really wanted to fight for him as opposed to when Kuntz was coach. His tactics were on point too. Ismail Yuksek MOTM.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Merih is done dude is playing in Saudi Arabia at 27 🙈

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Piss poor effort, wonder what Dalić will say

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Absolutely awful game. But well we lacked good players and outside livaković and 2/3 other players nobody played good. Livaković messed up badly coming out of the box. GG Turkey, hope we play better against Wales.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I will never understand why he left his box.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

We cant qualify without drama.

Congrats to turkey

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I still think that İrfan Can should've at least gotten called up but I'm trusting in Montella's decisions for now

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Dalić is really going to play the same tactic with any team against any opponent huh.

Gvardiol was epic and also Modrić has all my respects. He realised even in the first half that when our fullbacks overlap with the wingers the wing loses on potency and he adjusted by overlapping the full backs. He just sees everything

Terrible match by the team. Barišić should really be a third choice LB at best.

Majer had a good match, we played much better when he was subbed in.

Luckily two teams progress from the groups so hopefully we secure a spot.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I would also add Gvardiol and maybe Liva (if we ignore his fuckup)
