Not smart enough to talk about tactics, but Brazil is clearly done for psychologically. None of the players seem able to focus at all.

I think it is sad that they gave the job to a coach that is still managing a club. It's the greatest national team in the world, it can't be a side job.

For the first time in 22 years Uruguay will beat Brazil and for the first time in 8 years brazil will lose a WCQ?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

That’s an insane pass by Nunez

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

You’ve got to love Darwin

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Nunez surrounded by 3, off-balance, and he still gets the cutback through. Impressive.

We've been playing absolutely shit this FIFA window.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Nunez is really starting to understand how to use that frame of his. If he can find some consistency he's going to be an absolute nightmare for defenders.

Overused but obligatory:

WHERE WERE YOU WHEN BRAZIL WAS KILL

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Kinda related but in the 7-1 I was having Russian language class during the first half. This was a pretty serious institute and the "headmaster" was a very stereotypical Russian lady always with an angry face and a no-bullshit attitude that literally interrupted our class to let us know Brazil was loosing 5-0.

Brazil gonna have nightmares of Darwin

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

So does Newcastle

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Fuck. I guess I needed to go to bed though, it's nearly 5 in the morning. Hope I wake up to Richarlison 90+1, 90+3.

Crazy seeing Brazil like this after the machine they were with Tite.

Brazil had bad luck in the WC and in the Copa América final. Tite's Brazil was a fucking amazing team that is going to get memory holed.

Bielsa x Darwin 🤤

Nunez all round play has improved so much in 6 months. He’s going to be a monster.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

We warned you his 1st season would have growing pains and he would improve a lot in his 2nd season. That's his MO.

If Nico and the other Araujo were Argentinian or Brasilian, they'd be playing in Europe years ago.
