game’s gone

Good luck forcing Fred, Becão, Lincoln, Icardi, Torreira, Davinson, Tetê, and Muslera to take a double 24-hour flight within only three days. They'll surely want to celebrate Christmas in their home country.

Biggest game in turkey and they play for a bit of money abroad. If you play abroad, play it in Germany at least. Would love that shitshow tbh

I think they have to pay for German if that's the case

They could ask 500€ per ticket and the stadium would be full

They tried to play it in germany but the german government wouldnt allow it lol

Lol I’m pretty sure when I toured Dortmund’s stadium they mentioned that the most full the stadiums’s temporarily holding cell/drunk tank had ever been was against a Turkish opponent. Wanna say Besiktas but I could be wrong.

Shoutout to all the barbers who will attend.

Nah but seriously why tf would the Turkish super cup even be here? It’s not like the Spanish or Italian cup where a lot of Saudis watch.

Do they even watch their own league? I think I read that their biggest team gets an attendance of like 7000 per match

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Average attendance in the entire league is 11k. Average attendance for Galatasaray and Fenerbahce is around 40k each this season.

A game between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce would essentially be a full house

Yeah, it's a head scratcher. Particularly in Riyadh. They might be some interest in Jeddah or Medina where there's a large Turkish community and longstanding historic links, but who's going to attend in Riyadh?

The barbers

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

who would watch Turkish clubs in Saudi

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

All the barbers in Saudi will be so happy
