Scott giveth and Scott taketh

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

I mean it's a clear penalty but where was this officiating when opponents were playing volleyball in the box

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Only watched this match and the Che/Ars match today.

That’s the first good bit of keeping I’ve seen.

How much is this down to injuries for Manchester United?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

That's a very poor half of football.

I'm amazed by our total lack of structure. People popping up all over the place and not in 'Total Football' way more in a 'having a kick about down the park' kinda way.

Ten Hag has to get this together because whatever he is doing (even considering the many mitigating factors) just isn't good enough.

Your players are both everywhere, yet nowhere for a team mate to find without stopping, looking, then passing.

Sheffield Utd players really just have to stand still to stop the threat.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Hit the nail on the head with the movements, whole game feels like its the first pick up game of the day and everyone is warming up

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Utd players are the worst moaners. Clearest handball pen of the season so far yet still can’t believe it. Book the rats

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Onanananananana, Scott McTominay!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Amrabat like a bald dad out there

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Antony is just wasteful whenever he gets the ball

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Simple Jack, you gotta score that mate

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Oof that was a proper championship tackle

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Rashford is in sulk mode today, he is such a funny dude.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Onana better with his face than his hands

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Højlund’s tenacity 😤

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Amrabat tackling Dalot, has to be peak football

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Goalkick for sheffield/goal for sheffield

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Maguire's long balls have actually been really good so far? One of the only positives for United

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

I mean James McAtee isn't that good but Antony dear me.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

A nervous first half from two teams daring not to lose.

Utd are playing the better football (as they should), but Utd have more fight in them, and are more willing to, as Roy Keane would call it, smell the danger.

Not going to predict a winner. It'll either be Utd or Utd. Or a draw.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

This is such a massive cope that I can't even...

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Sometimes football is so dire it loops around and becomes properly entertaining

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

What does Ten Hag even offer in a manager?

His team plays turgid every game.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

This may go beyond any manager’s capability’s

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

This game is basically the duality of McTominay.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Any manager should be furious at their players picking up yellows like that

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Neutrals: what an absolute shit game

Me: This is the best I have seen us play all season. We are massive

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

No, true neutrals also revel in how shit United are

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Nah this is entertaining match and Sheffield def can get some

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Bruno Fernandes:- nice talent, 0 sportsmanship

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

what is bro doing trying to block a throw-in like that lmao

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Rashford has taken it upon himself to cross a lot today, which is great.

What's less great is almost every cross hitting the first man.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

He must have been watching old Stewart Downing footage!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

It is very funny seeing Sheffield are playing so deep that Maguire has been able to move up to right wing and striker.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

If he was more mobile, I would think Maguire would be a better fit for inverting into midfield than Lindelof.

Not sure that matters that much when this game seems to be 10v10 in Sheffield United's half whenever Man United have the ball though.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Please explain to me like I’m five; why did United pay 100 million for Antony?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

why did United pay 100 million for Antony?

Nepotism, and United's scouting department is literally Ten Hag's Friends list

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

He's just a flashy player who does absolutely nothing

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Being a mid table team isn’t all doom and gloom. It grows on you, and you learn to appreciate the small victories against bigger teams.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

United about to pay a billion quid for Foderingham in January

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Just sack them all at half time, I can’t watch this shit anymore

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Broadcasters wondering if they can just flip over to the rugby

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

We didn’t have a sustained spell of possession until stoppage time, embarrassing

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

United have like 5 players whose best position is the number 10 (Bruno, Mount, Eriksen, McTominay, vdB) but no player who is the best at 8.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Anthony never completes a cross, does he ?
