Have you looked at the pendulum clock by steve petersen? it's a very nice design- and mine keeps reasonably good time considering.
I've just got a few fidget toys, I frequently use during meetings to keep calm and my fingers occupied...
For example these things here:
A bunch of too inaccurate calibration prints, after my hotend failed earlier this month and I'm rebuilding my machine and dialing in the settings again.
The only thing I really have within line of sight are my keyboard and desktop case. But they're both very useful as I'm sure you can imagine.
