What makes this app different from pomodoro timers ( which there are a bunch of ones on f-droid )?

@dessalines the difference would be that it keeps a history of your study sessions and it might have some sort of study together feature too
@dessalines the premise of Forest is your study sessions will become trees in a forest. if you're diligent, the tree will be big and healthy. but if you get distracted, the tree will die
I know there are pomodoro apps that do store / show your history, not sure which ones tho.
This is exactly what I was looking for! Thank-you very much.
This is the one I use, it's on FDroid and pretty great
Do they have statistics pages though? With subject-specific data? And do they offer timers and countdowns that aren’t restricted to pomodoro timers? Cause that’s what I need.
I think I don't get it because I basically don't use my phone, but is this app's aim to ensure you don't end up leaving this app for some big corporate addictive mainstream app?
Partially. But most people, myself included, use it to track the ratio and statistics of their studying. For example, I like to check the stats page to ensure I’m not spending too much time studying one thing and not enough time studying another. Additionally, I like to make sure I’m studying a consistent amount from one month/week/year to another so I can ensure I’m not dropping off.
