Hey, it's also infuriated those of us outside the Patriots org!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

There was a clear number 1 QB in his draft class, but there was a debate for 2-5. The only "advantage" Mac had over Fields, Lance and Wilson was his decision making. Everyone claimed Mac was the most ready to step in to the NFL because of his decision making. It's been God awful this year... Like, he doesn't look like he belongs in the league

#I’M NOT TOM BRADY

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Something about how he talks and holds his face, reminds me of the small group of older students, at least one of whom tucked their shirts directly into too-high tighty-whiteys.

The Patriot organization's decision making has infuriated me.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Get it together, Macard.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

certainly can't be any worse than the decision to hire Matt Patricia as OC.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Now watch some dump team pick up Mac and do well next season

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

It has also infuriated people outside of the Patriots organization

Gee wonder whose at fault for Mac Jones

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Mac Jones is the kinda guy to eat a chocolate bar with a fork and knife.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Mac Jones wipes back to front.

This is on the Patriots, not on Mac.

How dare he throw perfect passes that get dropped over and over again.

Remember all the handwriting of Mac vs Trey Lance? And then after last year everyone was sold on Fields and made jokes how everyone missed out on him?

Lol

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I can't think of another name on the Patriots offense off the top of my head so in that regard the Patriots failed Mac Jones.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Mac Jones is the cornerstone for that organization. I hope he stays for years and years, and signs a huge contract.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

The same could be said about Bill’s decision making when it comes to drafting, personnel, and free agent signings.

I legitimately saw that they were making their way downfield against Washington at the end of the game and thought “now would be the perfect time for a mac interception” and like 2 plays later it happened lol he’s the absolute opposite of Brady

All issues with Mac Jones aside he has one of the worst collection of players at the skill positions I have ever seen.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I don't know whether to defend a fellow Mac or start a petition to force him to change it to Mack.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

If the pocket collapses by the slightest bit, he panicked and stops looking downfield and basically curls into the fetal position.

I miss that tall handsome winning son of a bitch.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

This is O’Briens karma for what he did to us

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

This reeks of Belichick trying to pass blame for being 2-7 onto anyone other than himself. Has Mac made some questionable decisions? No doubt. I've also seen him make good decisions and put dimes on his receivers hands, only for those balls to be dropped. 2021 showed that with a decent scheme and serviceable supporting cast Mac can be a decent-to-pretty good quarterback. Absent that context these kind of evaluations are meaningless.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

He’ll go into the season as QB2 with the Niners next year.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

It’s honestly super funny to see the pats organization and fans see how difficult it really is to obtain just a good QB. Brady absolutely skewed winning in an insane way

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Water being wet has “infuriated” people inside Patriots organization.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

“They see him passing up open receivers."

Yes, sure they do. There's barely been a patriots receiver open all year. There's a reason why Brady left when he did. The team thinks it can just draft/sign defense and win. The league has changed.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I'm not gonna pretend that I think or ever thought Mac Jones was/is some world beater QB(I think his ceiling was Kirk Cousins/Matt Ryan), but his failures are just as much on Belichick's failure to develop him and keep the offense's talent at an acceptable level as it is on Mac.

Mac is only in year 3, and is also on his 3rd OC(one of which was a friggin' defensive coordinator masquerading as an OC), his 3rd straight year of having one of the worst receiver groups in the NFL, and his O-Line has only gotten worse every year of his career.

Surprise surprise that a young pocket passer is gonna struggle under those circumstances.

"....something's not right..." No Shit

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

He's not good! Pats' fans have made excuses for him for a long time now.
