I remember when we signed Joel Veltman and the Ajax fans told us he was a shite defender making a lot of mistakes.

He's been our most solid defender for years now and one of the best right backs in the PL. Whereas I'm not entirely sure the Ajax defenders today are any better than Joel was.

I don't know what I'm watching at the moment, but I kind of like it.

For someone who excelled in the Championship, Akpom does seem to lose a lot of physical duels.

First Akpom for Taylor and now Forbs for Hlynsson so you basically get a midfield with only Vos and Berghuis is really not going to help us to get anything from this game.

No disrespect, but a match with clubs of this magnitude deserve better then a ref from Montenegro.
