Because they can... I feel like at this point they just do things because they can. They rather have a player who is surplus than have the player be someone a rival can use
Look at what happened with Kalvin Phillips, basically got signed to fill the English player quota. He could've helped Leeds stay up and now he is getting tossed aside for Kovacic.
They literally already have arguably the best defence in the world and they're about to sign another for 100m... I swear to fucking god

I'm thinking Havertz today and we get our Fee accepted this week by Ajax for Timber but he'll be announced next week. I'm really ready for some Rice news. What happened to that bid City were suppose to submit last week?
This is completely a guess, but I think any player announcements will be at the earliest Tuesday/Wednesday . Looks like Stuart MacFarlane was at Glastonbury this weekend.
