Using this script, you can install vkBasalt, which is similar to reshade/SweetFX, without messing up your Steam Deck.

After feeding the description of vkBasalt, I'm still not entirely sure what it is? Could someone enlighten me?

It’s basically filters for games that use the Vulkan graphics API. You can inject antialiasing methods or sharpening filters directly into the game using the vkBasalt tool.
