I would like to find a way to contribute here. Longtime reader and former build team on the old reddit ship. If light touch moderation and being engaged here is what you are looking for, I'd be willing to mod.

I can help moderate if you need it. I take a hands-off approach and used to moderate some minor subreddits on Reddit prior to the blackout so I'm not inexperienced.

I'm in EDT as well, but I'm starting to work on getting my online presence here in Lemmy after becoming a 2023 Reddit Refugee. Would love to be able to moderate and help out.

Not sure what you are looking for, but I'm happy to discuss further. I have old web design experience, used to run a popular video game Web site back in the day (won't post it here to so I can stay anonymous), etc.
