Miami is like the best offense in football and they’re coming off a bye and at home. I like the way the raiders have responded since getting rid of JMD, but a 13.5 spread seems low to me against such an explosive offense.

Update: The Raiders are now 5-5 against the spread. Unfortunately they are 1-4 ATS on the road. And this week is a 1pm east coast road game. Over/under is 48pts. I’d take the 13.5 and the under. But I’m a shitty gambler.

Yeah I don’t think OP understands how lines work. -13.5 is high, but it’s not crazy at all considering the start time, the Dolphins coming off a bye and the fact that they basically torch all the average to below average teams.

The line opened at -9.5, so it’s actually the public betting so much on that number which raised it to -13.5.

I am not surprised at all. This is a terrible match-up for us on paper. They have an explosive offense with S-Teir receivers, and we're rocking with the corpse of our already sub-par secondary. We have a good, talented roster, and we don't happen to match up well this week. Anything is possible, but I'm managing my expectations. I'll be happy if we can keep it competitive.

The bloom comes off the rose this week. The dolphins are going to dominate, send the team back to reality a little bit, and then they’ll regroup for the stretch run.

Our secondary looks like a MASH unit. Tyreek is going to feast unless we create a ton of pressure up front. Our offense needs to control the ball and put up 30+ to win. I am taking the over all day long.
