They’ll still stay up

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

I’m a bit ootl, what did they do exactly that warrants a deduction (that others apparently haven’t)?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

So..errr..city?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

If man City and Chelsea get nothing throw this league in the fucking bin.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Would’ve really appreciated this 6 months ago instead of now :/

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Completely disproportionate

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Now do city next

1150 pt deduction when?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Everton made a loss, which was their problem.

We all know Man City are innocent, they haven't made a loss.

The fact they got paid eleventy billion for Saudi to be their official discarded crisp packet partner is just good business.

Arsenal fan here. I think it’s ridiculous to deduct points which were earned by the players and the team. This is an offence committed by the club and so for the sake of sporting integrity, the appropriate punishment should be towards the club without impacting the team.

Reinstate the points and impose a harsh ban on registration of new players.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Simps out here begging for City to be punished and im still convinced City never broke a single rule. Shits hilarious.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Cities trophies need handing down to Liverpool & arsenal and taken to the conference.

Chelsea the same!

Always scousers who get punished

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

So wonder if Pep will fancy playing Wrexham next season if they get relegated

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Why isn’t Manchester City held to the same standards as a struggling club that’s already financially in the shitter? At least deduct points consistently for these offenses instead of brazenly ignoring the richest club in the world

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Hahahahhahahahahha

Time to ramp up the brexitball tactics

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

I’m not an Everton fan but I really can’t believe how biased this league is on punishment. City and Chelsea would never be punished like this. The sport really is gone huh

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Thankfully Everton actually look decent this season and the rest of the bottom 4 are absolute dross so they should still stay up

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

I hope it gets wiped clean. This is a travesty.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Meanwhile City…

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Send City to the fucking National League. If the FA thinks that Everton are what is wrong with modern football then there's something seriously up

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Really hurts their title race chances

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Man City watchers in their sub seem to be convinced that Everton’s spending above what they are organically capable of seems to be different from City’s 13 years of spending more than what they are organically capable of.

That 100m a year sponsorship from a PO Box in slough? Registered to Etihad fish and chips? Don’t worry about it mate. That makes it legit.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Not many Man City flares in here I see, shocking, that.

People to thinking city and Chelsea are getting away with it. I don't think so. This is setting a precedent. City are fucked.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Fck me 12 games in a 10 points deduction and they'd only be 2nd bottom....they can definitely recover from that they'd only be 5 points off 17th...

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

10 points for 1 charge, imagine city with 115..

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Gotta expel city from the football league if this is the precedent

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Holy! The EPL is a joke

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Between this and VAR, football is losing (lost?) credibility.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

This sets them up perfect to give City a 100k fine

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

ok, so how about man city and their 115 charges?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Here we go 🍿the Reddit lawyers/judges/juries and executioners as well as geopolitical experts will be out imminently.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Imagine cheating and not even winning anything, lol losers.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Best season for them to get it, even the Everton of the last 2 years would likely survive a 10 point deduction with Luton, Sheff United and Burnley in the league.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Honestly if you support city after something like this where their crimes far outweigh anything here, you’re a loser.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Meanwhile the club with over 100 breaches of PL rules couldn’t give two fucks about it 🤔

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

First Reading, now Everton. Kia Joorabchian strikes again.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

So saying refs are shit is 'bringing the game into disrepute', but handing a club a points reduction while leaving another club alone for the same rule breaches doesn't bring the game into disrepute?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

The premier League is gone BTW, 6 clubs tried to force a hostile takeover of the entire English football system and got fines.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago
[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Wait, haha… incredible, but nothing for Chelsea and Man City?? This is total insanity

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Honestly better to get the deduction now than later in the season. Imagine being safe from relegation then receiving 10 points deduction and immediately going into danger zone with not many games left.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Any other season and I'd be absolutely certain that this points deduction would send Everton down but this season's promoted teams are some of the worst in recent memories and it's going to take an absolute miracle for anybody other than them to make the drop.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

an appeal must be heard, and concluded, before the end of the season.

Important, not having to choose between taking the hit now or risking a deduction in a tougher relegation fight next season
