The Premier League has just opened the biggest can of worms I’ve ever seen.

Should make it familiar for Sean Dyche.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Ok cool now so City

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Chelsea supporter here - suck my cock.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Can someone highlight why Chelsea is being grouped in with City? City have 115 charges pending. Whereas for Chelsea it's more so about the source of money Roman used rather than cooked books right?

Also, Chelsea have faced consequences in the past, the transfer ban and then being sanctioned (fans couldn't buy tickets, couldn't collect revenue from games) and sold off to the highest bidder as a pawn to again political points. Chelsea wouldn't be lower to mid table these last two seasons if it weren't for the sanctions cause Putin started a war.

Or is it just because we all hate the Chelsea?

Undeniable proof the Premier League is corrupted when other teams who we know who they are get away with numerous FFP breaches and made up shell companies 'sponsored' business get away with it.

Prehaps a super league of the corrupted teams isn't a bad thing at least those who are left can play in a fairer league afterwards.

Tied for last in prem with same GD as united

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Ignoring the flagrant unfairness of Everton receiving this punishment whilst Man City and Chelsea laugh in the background, they'll probably be fine anyway. They should still survive given how poor Luton, Burnley, and Sheffield Utd look, and then they've essentially gotten off scot free.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Bro what???

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

How the fuck are they getting done before City or Chelsea?

Oh yeah, corruption.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

'Can't punish the fans'

6 teams tried to destroy English football.

Great now do City next cowards

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Hey Premier League..... Do Man City and Chelsea you cowards

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Strip Manchester City of every title after 2008 and demote them to league 2 then.

Fuck this shit, bugger clubs shouldn’t be able to get away with this. Everton could get demoted and even bankcrupt for this but City who’s done 100x worse are celebrated.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Everton will get out of the relegation zone. They're playing significantly better than the true bottom 3 and feel like they've finally turned the corner as a team.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

What about Man City and Chelsea?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

They can count themselves lucky they got charged this season and not last season. Not sure what all the sympathy for them is about. They cheated and got punished.

City likely haven't been punished yet because a case with over 100 charges is going to a lot more complicated, and I can imagine City's team of lawyers are making it easy either.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Will city receive a 1150 point deduction?

Straight to the national league

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

If the rules applied to everyone, City would be relegated to League 2 in 1984

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Better get popcorn for the next allegations to get judged then

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Manchester City: i sleep

Everton: real shit

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

This obsession people have with pretending Man City are getting away unnoticed with breaking financial rules really need to go outside more. Just because Everton have been dealt with first doesn't mean City have been forgotten about or the charges against them aren't real. It was explained at the time they were announced that their charges could take years to be settled, but a few months later people piss their pants about them not being punished yet.

Everton have left a trail of breadcrumbs to their massive financial mismanagement over the last few years and they've been punished for it after a literal years ong investigation. Why the fuck is it so hard for people to talk about this instead of just rolling around on the floor screaming about Man City?

Lads we want ye gone, but ye keep surviving, so here ye go.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

I really hope this is somehow setting the stage for relegating Man City. Otherwise... wtf?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Didn’t know this was about Manchester City, the club the im told no one here cares about.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

So what I'm taking from this is Man city are going to be given those 10 points now and every club outside the top 6 will have to write a nice letter to them apologising for the inconvenience? I mean 115 charges against them can't all be wrong by law of averages there must be at the very least one charge that correct in there

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Guess Man City have the better lawyers!!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Juventus 🤝 Everton

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

They better throw the fucking book at city, or I'm burning down the premier league HQ

Without having read the article or caring too much, how did Everton get deducted before City? Worse lawyers?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

This is setting up City to get demoted, isn't it?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Not much of a punishment is it.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

The corruptness of the PL is in plain sight. A travesty for Everton fans when City and Chelsea benefit with no punishment.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Premier league to award the 10 points taken from Everton to Man City just to emphasize the point

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Would hope man city get dropped to the national league considering their 115 charges and all

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

The EPL is really mad at Manchester City and Chelsea for finding ways to avoid the rules.

So Everton takes the blame.

Tell me how FFP is better than a Luxury Tax again.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Meanwhile Manchester City just floats along...

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Though I understand the immediate comparisons to City, at least in terms of how quickly this happened, I think they're a bit misguided.

City face 115 charges and proving their guilt in all of those charges is paramount and, not to mention, very time consuming.

Now will the Prem actually do anything about City? No,I don't think they will.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

It's not looking good bruv

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Going to go on a bit of a rant here.

Portsmouth goes into administration and they get docked 9 points. Meanwhile, Everton got the highest penalty in Prem history over 20 million euros which did not help us stay up at all and that money was used to help fund our stadium at a time when the cost of everything went up during Covid. Fucking joke FFP and the premier league is. Everton had been working with the Premier League for a couple of seasons and got the all-clear that everything was good this means for the last two seasons we were selling our best players left right and center to try and comply, meanwhile, Man City has been hiding behind worse infractions through their lawyers for over 10 YEARS now and will probably get a 1.15 million fine.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

What about City? Over a year the breaches against them came out and nothing happens. Are they getting special treatment because they’re the golden child in PL now?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Now do City! Now do City!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Now do Chelsea and City

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

I’m all for Everton going down but not like this.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

This is the second point deduction this year. First was Liverpool.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Ok, but now do ManCity please.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Moral of the story: Do not cooperate with the FA or any other organisation, threaten them with lawsuits and act as if you've done nothing wrong.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

They do deserve to get punished obviously, but they are also getting punished for not cheating.
