Was he Good for you guys?
Not only was he good, he was with us since childhood and reached the senior team. Its his home afterall
Wages will be a concern but I would love to have him come back.

Didn't realise Mourinho was DoF at Sporting
He's still in his 20s. Can't see him leaving the Premier League when he would still be a good player at that level.
I know he has an emotional attachment to Sporting but I think he'd prefer to go one of the other 14 London clubs.
Saying hes in his 20s is a bit disingenuous. He will be 30 in 2 months

I think it's even more Lisbon than it is Sporting. He might be English but he lived here for essentially all his youth and it's said he has tremendous ties to the city/desire to return, given that he is no longer a key player for a Top 6 PL club
Would he be a back up to Coates or a replacement? I feel both are better at the middle of the 3.
I'll drive him there myself.
