I saw the title. Then I thought : "Imagine the Panthers (or the Chargers) with Jim Harbaugh and Marvin Harrison Jr."
Damn.
Will Harbaugh be starting at quarterback?
I can understand not wanting their team to draft another QB because at this point why would anyone think they would get the right guy, but that isn't a good reason to think Fields is a long term solution at QB. I can't imagine how anyone could watch him play each week and think that he is ever going to be able to excel as a passer in this league. I 100% wanted the niners to draft him that year, but it is clear that the processing issues that caused him to drop in that draft were very much warranted. Fields would be an excellent weapon on any roster if used like Taysom Hill. He just isn't a QB1 in this league.
He excelled as a passer in his last 3 full starts. But people didn't like that he rushed for 100+ yards today as well. I really don't care where the yards come from, tbh.
He's absolutely a QB1 in this league. Do you want me to list the guys starting games yesterday? He may not be a top 10 guaranteed every week, but I'm not convinced Williams/Maye will be either. This sub would have had us drafting Bryce last year.
And we're only having this discussion because Flus blew the game on defense.
Greenberg must hate Harrison Jr. if his dream is Harrison Jr. catching balls from Fields.
As a Colts fan this would make me so envious. My third favorite Colt of all time and the son of my favorite Colt of all time both in a different uniform.

Bears need to take the best QB
Often that's either the guy on your roster or the guy NOT going #1.
Trade out of the #1 slot and take a guy in the mid-late 1st or 2nd.

The best QB between Fields and this draft class might very well be Fields
I Harrison Jr is really good but I just don’t see WR as the position that a rebuilding team needs to invest in.
I feel like the formula is pretty clear.
Before anything else you need OL, DL, and QB.
Once you get those pieces you can start adding talent in other areas.
Getting Harrison now just means you’re going to lose him or have to pay him big before you get a legitimate core worth competing for
Our O-Line is solid with good young talent. There are no defensive lineman worth taking in the top five.
Panthers pick will probably be #1, our could easily be anywhere from 2-10. There is a scenario where we can take a new QB and MHJ.
Anyone who believes Jim Harbaugh is the answer is asking for trouble.
