Do people use the same accounts on different devices? This is my work laptop account, but I've got another for phone, and yet another for personal laptop
I used to split up my accounts across devices. This account name was supposed to be my mobile account name. Eventually, the other account names went away and this one stuck.
Why would you do that?
Ever so slightly less effort, and I'm trying not to get attached to a username, like I did in the reddit days
Huh, it seems like every so slightly more effort haha. Logging in is easier than making a new account.

I've only commented 562 times so far (this is my 563rd), so I don't think anyone will recognize me just yet, unless you know the exact combination of letters in my username and the profile picture associated with it and make sure that absolutely nobody else uses it.
If there's a second "Resol van Lemmy" out there, it's still me, just from a Mastodon instance.
I noticed that here and I quite like it! I can start to recognize some people.
Damn I gotta get into posting in other communities
