Will we start seeing less talent on defense as the league seems to be favoring the offense now more than ever?

Of course Rodgers would make it a weirdo conservative talking point. Even more perfect since he comes off as the softest, most sensitive player in the league whose ego gets bruised by a mere breeze.

Further proof that Boomer is a socioeconomic status rather than an age

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Rodgers went on to say "NOW GET OFF MY LAWN!!"

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Mfer, The body weight rule exists because of you!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Oh, so it’s our fault.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Discount double dipshit

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Can’t wait for this doof to come back to the Jets only to be immediately destroyed again due to the Oline.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Thank you Mr multi-millionaire who makes more money than i’ll ever see playing a fucking sport for telling me i’m soft!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Are we about to experience a generation of bitter former players that shit on the current product like the NBA gets to deal with?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

he rite tho

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Aaron Rodgers is a fuckin dillweed who thinks he know more about viruses than immunologists.

Motherfucker doesn't trust doctors to administer a vaccine but he's fine with getting bigass tattoos. Doesn't trust doctors with a vaccine but he trusts this experimental new surgery on his achilles.

Dude was a great quarterback for sure, but he's as dumb fuck as Brett Favre

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Literal boomer energy

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I also agree with Tom Brady. (Does this put me in the same echelon with him and in same conversations?)

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

The rules changed for player safety.

What is Rodgers saying? The NFL rules committee is what? Woke? Vaccinated? On estrogen?

He's a great football player, but wow, he is a huge moron an even bigger attention whore.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Says the guy who cried for flags all the time. They changed rules because of Anthony Barr's legal hit.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Aaron and Tom’s bullshit aside, he’s not wrong about the difficulty of play for D in the current era. Literally anytime a ball is thrown more than 20 yards, it feels like interference is called more often than not. The amount of defensive flags in the current era is making the sport borderline unwatchable

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

The rules have gone too far. The rules are causing a lot of the bad fundamentals and coaches aren't coaching them. There is a balance to everything and football has not found it yet.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I love when insanely rich people who have access to hyperspace medical care call the working class soft.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

The guy who has benefited from softening rule changes criticizes the league for softening the rules. Can’t make this shit up.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

"Softening society" is such a reductive take. Brady put it way better. There's a lot more to it than that Throw Rogan

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Oh my god shut the fuck up

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Is he for real? This is the guy who went on Pat McAfee and told the story about how his feelings were hurt when he didn't get the attention/respect he felt he deserved prior to hiding in a cave for a week and comes out with a chip on his shoulder.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

They're both douchebags who happen to be good at football. next.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Cue the "we are NOT SOFT !!!" Comments

He aint lying though. The rules are getting it to be so hard to play defense. Im 30 and its wild to see where this game is headed compared to where it was in 2009 ish when i was in HS. Player safety matters but at a certain point you just cant prevent injuries.

The 'softening of society' is what will make the headlines as click bait and based on people's opinions they already have of a-rod they wont even listen to what hes trying to say. If you get bothered by that quote, then its you he is referring to.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

So soft because we get vaccinated, Aaron?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

This guy is so hateable lmao. Don’t forget that this clown used the term “woke mob” not too long ago.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Aaron Rodgers would be an incredibly annoying uncle to have wouldn't he?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I guess we softened his Achilles guys

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

"Pampered millionaire thinks people have it too easy"

What a piece of shit

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Rich coming from a guy who never had a working class job

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

oh shut the fuck up, this generation can barely keep up with student debt, medical bills, and increasing rent costs. why is a millionaire telling me society is soft?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Aren’t we all supposed to making things easier for the generations ahead of us? Like maybe getting concussions every game like they before was a bad thing.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Aaron Rodgers just doesn't want to work anymore.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago
[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Wasn’t Aaron scared to take a vaccine shot?

Talk about soft lmao

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I thought the owners wanted QB’s better protected because of their contracts?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Fuck Brady and Rogers. They were screaming at the refs for a roughing the QB flag if anyone touched them. They're the reason the game has gotten soft. Now, people like Bradshaw, Stabler, Staubach, and earlier generations of players can say the game has gotten soft.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Or maybe, just maybe, most of us would prefer not to see a death on the field.

And QB's are not the ones who should be commenting about violence or lack of it. They're not the ones who are taking the brunt of it.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Rodgers saw Brady getting headlines and immediately knew he had to escalate

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

This gives off old man yelling at clouds vibes.

With that said the league clearly is softer. The rules have made it that way in purpose.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

These ticky-tack holding calls during pass coverage are driving me nuts this yr. And yeah, I don’t understand why the DBs keep doing it, lots of them have negligible impact anyway, but good lord, the amount of drives extended for very very little actual disruption of a route

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

No fucking this Karen of a man is calling any else “soft” when he’s quite possibly the softest dude walking the planet right now.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I mean he’s right everyone has turned to a bunch of pussys anymore and I’m not an exception that’s for sure

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Rodgers is the reason the roughing the passer rule is what it is today. Thanks for making the league what it is today A-a Ron !!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

“Soft guy calls others soft”

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Didn't they change RTP after the totally legal Barr tackle? Like, the rules got softened BECAUSE OF YOU A-ARON!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

How Aaron Rodgers is almost my age buts sounds 25 years older, I'll never know. Perhaps it's just way easier for the wealthy to be so bitter about nonsense?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I definitely think defenses have been noticeably handicapped. Some of it is obviously for safety, but not all of it. Ball carriers stiff arm to the face and lower their heads all the time. Stuff that the defense would be flagged on if they did.

Marketability dictates more rule changes than people want to admit. I'll never understand why so many people just want to watch constant scoring. I love great defense and think it's more interesting than high scoring shootout games. I'm in the minority though. The NFL knows the more casual fan just wants to see non stop touchdowns and does what they can rule wise to make that easier.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Nah dude we just got tired of seeing people nearly get paralyzed like Ryan Shazier, or get their bell rung so hard it gave them brain damage like AB.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Shut up, Aaron.
