I'm sure their schedule has had nothing to do with that

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Such a meaningful stat. Cowboys, in some ways you are the best team in the league! How about that?!?!?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

They also played the giants twice

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

mama said the reason Cowboys fans are so ornery is cuz they got all them points and no wins against teams over .500

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

No team has the same schedule so this stat is useless.

Cowboys have only beaten bottom feeders.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Gotta love playing in the NFCE.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Now do it from week three and on

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Point differential is a pretty pointless stat. If it meant anything the Steelers( -29)wouldn’t be seeded ahead of the bills (+104) for a playoff spot.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

They also have had the most pro bowlers of any team in the past 27 years.

And they have had less playoff wins than the Jets in the past 27 years.

Their problem has never been the regular season stats.

The Dallas Cowboys are Tied for the best Point Differential In The NFL. Also, they've played one less game than team they are tied with (Ravens)

And ... ?

It's unclear what point you're trying to make here.

Strength of schedule really helps:

Panthers Patriots Giants twice

versus

Bengals twice Browns twice Steelers

plus better showings against common opponents:

ARI-DAL: 28-16 L ARI-BAL: 31-24 W

SEA-DAL: 22-14 L SEA-BAL: 37-3 W

Still, will lose in the playoffs

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Can someone tell the rest of the NFL to blow out the bad teams too? That way you guys don’t get so upset.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

They also haven’t beaten a team with a winning record. So what does this really say about the cowboys?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

This is what happens when you blow out bad teams, play a lot of them, and lose close to good teams.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

They also haven’t beaten a team with a (currently) winning record

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago
[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

No, they've played one *fewer game.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Unimportant, useless stat. A win, is a win. That’s all that matters.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Yeah, they beat up on scrub teams, and lose every time they play a good team. As it’s been for about 25 years. Good talk.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Cowboys played some really bad teams, cmon guys give them a round of applause cause they need something positive for another SB less year

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Can you count the number of games?

If so then it’s fewer.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

It’s the same script for the Cowboys every year. Start the season, beat up on bad teams, get delusional, lose in playoffs on embarrassing final play. Why should the NFL script writers change up a formula that works so well for so many people?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

/r/nfl always finding a way to hate on the cowboys like no other team.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

So if they lose the game they have in hand, they’ll no longer be tied for first.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Watch them lose to the Commanders this week.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Playing in more or less games doesn’t matter

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Ravens also play defensive guru, Brandon Staley, this week. They have no chance.

We all know how this ends.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Just for the insult of trying to claim this flimsy Cowboys team is anything close to the genuine article that is the Baltimore Ravens, I'm gonna make s'mores when the Cowboys eventually crash and burn. I'm allergic to chocolate, but this needs doing.

Dallas > Bad Teams, Dallas < Good Teams

As a Dallas fan, this happens every season, it seems. I've been ready to move on from Dak for a while now as he's inconsistent and can't seem to pull through during pressure situations when it matters most. He also can't seem to beat good teams (.500+).

It's just not exciting to watch Dak pad his stats against terrible defenses and then turn around and get handled by division rivals. And only 2 playoff wins to show for it...

It would be nice to win out the rest of the regular season and secure a rightful spot in the playoffs because Dallas defense is playing too well this year (without Diggs), and I'd hate to see this season get thrown away due to Dak's mediocrity.

They also got their ass handed to them by the niners.
