Are they even functional outside of my subscription/line?

Can they be flashed/put into modem mode ?

They’ve always been useless; we don’t have VM here but relatives have always had theirs in modem mode with amother router or mesh system.

Best to eWaste it.

With some configurations you could use these as Access Points other then that rubbish.

The superhub 2s have terrible wifi would definitely not recommend using them as APs

if they're still functional, you could try using them as access points to extend your wifi coverage. just disable the routing functionality and connect them to your main router via ethernet.

Out of interest, I have Virgin upstairs too. As I now have a Hub 5 and a Hub 3 left over from a recent upgrade, can the older hub be put upstairs to run via the cable? I’m currently running powerline kits and as I now have 1gb my old 100mb powerline kit needs upgrading anyway.

Just curious.
