Technology? = More

Escapism? = Also more

Climate change? = Exponentially more, to the level of potential extinction

(Not against technology btw, just need to control this shitty climate)

We have Lemmy to ease the suffering

Yea this is a Lemmy issue, not an app-specific issue.

Turns out, all @[email protected] needed was the one ring.

You can still use archive.is or archive.ph. If you can't access those, it's likely a dns issue.

In the future, the judge also acts as prosecutor and jury.

Just don't have anything that can potentially be "incriminating", from the perspective of a border agent. Never hurts to be overcautious, but being too careless can get you deported. Wipe all devices, and have a few photos and populate your browser history with random non-political content so your devices look "normal". Do not have anything that "criminals" use. Do not have a VPN app that's visible, do not have Tor, do not have any encryption apps. You can download these things once you get in the country. Just act "normal" and you'll be fine crossing customs.

In this economy?

(Yes I know there's Proton VPN with a free tier, but that's kinda slow.

Edit: Also, I don't want to be hogging free bandwidth when there are people that need the VPN more than I do, such as people in authoritarian regimes.)

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I have a PhD in online arguments, and I’ve been involved in numerous anonymous arguments with internet strangers, and I have won over 300 arguments online.

Default unencrypted SMS, because family doesn't give a fuck about privacy. 😞

Not even horror. From tbe GF's perspective: your partner is so attracted to you, he (or she) starts trying out your clothing. If the partner is a guy, maybe he just likes cross-dressing. Nothing wrong with that (even if society might find it weird). Honestly if you are mad at a partner for doing that, maybe the relationship wasn't meant to last to begin with.
