The ease of use and ability to connect to people almost seamlessly makes this a no brainer. While other cheaper options work, the intuitiveness really gives apple products an edge

Of course there is a downside but I doubt side loading is going to be an issue for this guy

It’s an example. If there are multiple instances of a thing do I need to subscribe to all of them? The answer is yes. It’s different from Reddit but there are pro and cons.
