Currently, I'm playing Hearts of Iron IV in single player. Still in the ≤1000-hour noob phase, but I've accidentally managed to go on a world conquest because the ahistorical AI blessed me with a Non-Aligned axis of Britain, Japan and I.

Uff, ich hab mir gerade erst eine richtige Persönlichkeit gekauft. Für eine Identität hab ich momentan kein Geld!

Aber jain, es ist echt kontextabhängig für mich. Als (kultureller) Europäer fühle ich mich dann, wenn ich mit Nicht-Europäern interagiere. Und selbst dann kommt das Thema kaum zur Sprache, wenn es, naja, nicht um Kultur geht. Aber als eine Art Nationalidentität benutze ich das gar nicht, zum Bleistift.

Durch das Rumreisen hat sich bei mir tatsächlich weniger eine Überidentität gebildet, sondern es hat viel mehr meine Identität als Deutscher geprägt, denn so sehe ich die Unterschiede gemeinsam mit den Überlappungen. So nach dem Motto, "wir sind nicht alle gleich und das ist gut" statt "Wir sind alle gleich und das ist gut."

The mum game of all mum games in my experience is The Sims. I've got mine hooked on Sims 2 by accident and it's actually fairly innocent if your playing style is.

Even though any simmer will unavoidably become a genocidal maniac, at some point. But for sensitive people, this might still be a good game.

However, if that's too dark still (because even Sims 4, the most innocent entry, can have inter-character drama), maybe some farming games may work. The kind you'd find on Facebook. Mine is playing those a lot, but I can only think of Farmerama, right now. But that can also be a money milking machine.

I mean, if they don't bomb its release like the main game's and actually provide content worth $30, this pricing doesn't seem unreasonable. I'm gonna wait and see how good it is, how solid it works and what actually comes with the DLC, before making a decision. If they deliver $30 content, I will pay $30.
