you could do a span or traffic mirror in one of the switches to sniff on the traffic being sent. i just did it on mine and looks like you do get ipv6 neighbor discovery packets, but they also reply to bootp. you should be able to get ipv4 only, at least it works for me.

the s33 is the closest I’ve seen to what im looking for, have you tried to put it through a switch? the g36 seems to lock up every time, wonder if the s33 has the same issue.

 

I noticed most devices nowadays have a ridiculous price tag just because of the wifi, and that I really don’t plan to use. anyone knows if there is a good alternative? ideally a cablemodem without wifi with a 2.5 or 10gbps port that allows me to pay just for what i need without having to buy expensive junk like the nighthawk or the g36 that have so many bugs? thanks for any leads.
