A standard automotive bolt. Maybe something that was ubiquitous in the 1950’s but isn’t used today in place of something cheaper and more reliable

The issue isn’t trust. It’s the same as anything else electronic such as having a backdoor to encryption.

Anything physical requires a certain amount of effort to break in such a way that is widespread and without making it obvious.

But purely digital/online means that any bad faith actor with enough resources (such as nation states) can scale up the means and methods to manipulate it or break it.

I’m all for electronic voting for tallying with physical paper trails that can be used to verify the integrity of the digital results.

Yet disorder and ambiguous goals/requirements by management tends to have a domino effect.

True but they can go anytime. In the meantime they’re making a fuss, keeping the issue alive in the news and making Reddit take action instead of making it easy for them.

E.g. “If you want me gone fire me because I’m not quitting so you can save face.”

That’s an interesting thought

True but then you have a stack of icons that all look the same.

No big deal when it’s expanded but when collapsed it makes it hard to visually identify what’s what.

Fixes:
Add a single letter based on the magazine like outlook does with contacts

Have an alt title that shows when you hover (not as useful with phones but still)

Default to expanded so you can collapse it but the default shows the icon and the associated label

Just that without the text and only an icon it would be hard to differentiate it.

I mean, assuming it defaults to expanded at first, it’s not a big deal. Just something to consider from a usability perspective

That assumes there’s a consistent icon theme for every magazine doesn’t it?

Leave the prefix off altogether so it works cross server and doesn’t take unnecessary space

Might want to put a disclaimer that the WiiU port doesn’t count

How do you actually filter/block specific magazines from all?

Although, by nature of the federation, anything add and then deleted may already be replicated to other instances.

Some of whom could instead show/retain a copy of it.

Basically assume that everything will be available and associated with you forever. Even more so than usual.
