But I menationed to my partner that the amount of CDIC stickers in banks and for sure online ads had been increased in the last year and defiatly since the sneeze. We need less people controlling the money printers and interest mechanisms in my personal opinion. Some of these changes is reactionary to the USA devauling their own currency through exsesive monintary sepending, which is now uncapped till 2025(since being uncapped their national debt has increased by 1trillion dollars now ~32 trillion). And since our economy and most of the world is tied up with the USD its now causing problems. There is sestemic issues in the central banking systems that we use today(fractional reserve banking) and they(the issues) have been exploited for too long. I believe the next viable solution is a decenterilized finacial system and to take lobbying for policy influnce out of our societies. Seperate note billionaires need to pay taxes, they sequester more wealth then smog from lord of the rings and pay less tax then you reading this. Got this one! Also I want to see NFT audio books and science/uni text books. I spent 300$ on a chem text book because it was required for the class. Only to find out the publisher just reordered content from last edition so prof couldnt cowardinate references with all versions of text. When to resell my 'new' chem text at the end of the semester(instert pawn shop meme)...best I can give you is 10$( Uni book store). Another example calculus, what you learn in calc 1-4 is 400 y/o math(based on info from math major I knew). I did keep some of my pyshical text books because I enjoy having them in collection that will on day make a library. But for the classes that are just required and you know your never opening that book again I'd rather just own a digital pdf copy or audio book version. Can confirm questtrade is 300$, however they dont have a system to transfer cost basis. I called their 'service' out for what it is incomplete. They sent me the docs to do it myself, I still asked for a refund. They gave me half the fee back into my account(150USD). After which I sent it to my bank bought directly with computer share using wise and terminated the leftovers.
On a family note, my mother was asked to pay two drs fees since her splividend shares got stuck at her brocker while her real shares were at computershare(Cause that makes fucking sense). After some encouragement from me, she talked to them and got the rest DRS'd for no charge(she is at different bank think it was 80$ for DRS).
Buy hold DRS...the rest is just noise.
