Found any promising leads? My Samsung is still holding on but I know I'm counting the days until it's time to replace it

Wait Linux still does not have 2.1 support yet? Hasn't that been around for years at this point? What's been holding it back?

I do agree in the end it's arbitrary, and you're right there are 2 extremes in strategy, purely analytical and purely reflexive, plus everything in between.

Admittedly without having played this game specifically using both strategies this is purely speculation. But from my experience playing similar games, exactly to your point of the two strategies, if time and moves are weighed equally, I feel like a player using the analytics strategy would end up with a much higher score than a reflex based player at the "same" skill level (however "skill" levels would be pretty hard to quantify and compare by the two strategies).

Hope that makes sense :)

Looks pretty cool. I know this isn't the point but I feel like from a games perspective the scoring is a bit off. I don't think 1 extra second and 1 extra move should be the same value. For me to sit there and analyze what the optimal move set would be to move set would be to move a certain block may avoid 2-3 extra moves, but would take way longer than 3 seconds for me to calculate in my head. Maybe make a move add 5 points to the score?

I wonder if there's a game theory way to find the optimal amount that the moves and time should be weighed to make them equal value.

Either way, pretty awesome you got this working in bash.

I think he means Steam's refund policy is not available to anyone outside the US because they only implemented it to comply with a US law, so like if you are in a country without similar consumer protection laws they don't offer the refund policy. (its not just the US btw, places like Canada and the EU also have the Steam refund policy)

Middle density housing is severely lacking in most of Canada. Montréal is one of the few cities that does have a bit of mid-density housing and its housing costs are lower than most other similar sized cities. Obviously there's many more factors but I definitely think mid density is important for reducing this crisis.

When I sort by hot in my subscribed feed it becomes flooded with posts from the worldnews community, posts that are multiple days old or even with negative scores, even though I'm subscribed to many other communities and when visiting those communities can find posts that are newer, and have more engagement than the ones I'm seeing from worldnews. And when I say flooded I mean I will have 5-6 posts in a row, followed by 1 post from another community, and then another 5-6 worldnews posts. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Is there anything I can do other than just unsubscribing from worldnews?

I know the recent patch added that you now have to long press on the username to have the action bar appear on comments in your inbox but personally I find that a redundant step and preferred the way it was before, could it possibly be an option in the settings to turn the action bar on by default?

In Montreal today, lawyers for the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and the National Council of Canadian Muslims told the court that the ban would cause irreparable harm if it is not suspended while a court challenge is heard on the merits of their case.

"What we've seen now from the past month of heat is that the high-elevation snow is rapidly depleting," said Jonathan Boyd, a hydrologist with B.C.'s River Forecast Centre. "We're on pace to be the earliest snow-free that the province has recorded."

If not you can just delete this post and maybe add a rule in the sidebar to make it clear this is a place to post communities not ask for communities.

If this IS allowed then does anyone know if there is a community similar to /r/dataisbeautiful?
