Thing is (me personally speaking) i have an ideological preference towards decentralisation and I'd prefer if people more got used to having decentralised infrastructure rather than sticking to the old model (in form, not function).

Thing is, at least for FFMV, the idea is not just prescribed burns but also mechanical load reduction and other forms of fire prevention that are suited to different ecologies.

Defeats the whole purpose tbh. Federation means decentralisation, single point of failure architecture in that is asking for trouble.

Allowing different markets seems like the only alternative to side loading/homebrew. It was easier to develop games back in the day when you didn't have too grovel to the device company overlords, this regulation just takes us back to that (sort of).
