I'm not saying that piracy, as a general concept, results in zero losses for a company. There are people who would have paid to see a thing, who won't thanks to piracy. I am saying that there is also a ton of stuff I would never pay to see, but would happily watch if it were free. Having some interest in a thing isn't the same as being willing to pay for it.

Hell, there's also stuff that I saw thanks to piracy that I wound up liking so much I went back and paid for a copy. In that sense, companies can make money through piracy. The point is that piracy isn't taking something like theft is, it's copying something.

That's not what I said at all.

This doesn't get said enough. Piracy is only damaging if I would have paid to get the thing in the first place. If I'm pirating something that I would have avoided entirely had I needed to pay, literally no one is taking any losses.

Won't work. Guarantee the courts will rule that embryos are only children in cases where medical personnel can be prosecuted. Aka only when they want.

Turns out logic doesn't apply in cases where the ruling isn't based on logic.

I wanna agree but in this particular case they all had those traits even before the show started (timeline-wise)

Ehh. Mighta been born that way (even that's debatable) but definitely not anymore. Tendi is the ass-kicking heir to a pirate dynasty, Rutherford is an insanely talented and obsessive engineer, Beckett seems borderline unbeatable in hand-to-hand combat and explicitly dodges promotions, and Boimler is Boimler.

nah, it was only able to parse bold, italic, and strikethrough correctly. oh well, lucky me i don't find the rest of it super important

I just switched from browser to Voyager like two days ago. Markedly easier on my hand, doesn't have a weird halting scroll like Jerboa, and no ads like Sync. So far, would recommend.

important distinction that it wasn't the legislature that repealed abortion rights. it was a couple of true believers, unconcerned about reelection, that the party cheated the system to get them onto the supreme court. if they'd known their nominees were lying about their stances on roe, i doubt they'd have been confirmed.

If you can slog through the gonarch, I'd recommend it. There's a sequence near the end where you start vaporizing everything with unlimited gluon gun ammo; it's one of my favorite parts of the game.

Forreal, especially because they don't telegraph that she's unkillable at certain points. You don't find out until AFTER you've wasted all your ammo, but up until then your shots are still visually appearing to do damage and she still whimpers. Really dumb design.
